What Happens Next?
Our office will contact you via phone or email within one (1) business day to schedule (or actually have) our phone consultation. If you provided a “Best Time to Reach,” we will do our best to accommodate the preferred time to contact you. Please understand, however, that scheduling conflicts may prevent us from calling you at the time requested.
If you scheduled a priority consultation before 12:00 pm (eastern time) on a regular office business day (for our office), we will contact you and have the consultation within four (4) hours of your consultation request submission.
What Should I Expect During the Phone Consultation?
Usually, we spend initially a few minutes going over the details of your case such as dates, history, concerns and issues raised. Afterwards, we often provide a summary of the relevant laws, regulations, procedures and practices. As part of this interactive discussion, we analyze and provide consultation on your case. Some, but not all, of our clients have a list of questions prepared in advance. This is helpful if you have specific concerns and want specific points and concerns addressed. We end the consultation once you, the client, is happy that all questions and concerns have been addressed and discussed.
What Happens If We Run Over the Allotted Consultation Time?
Our goal is to answer your questions and concerns fully — we will not interrupt the consultation if there are questions or issues unresolved and the time is running out. We will accommodate questions and discussion past the expiration time and we will make sure that you all of your questions and concerns are answered.
At the same time, we hope that you will respect our time (and other clients’ scheduled appointments). If you feel that you will need significantly more time than the allotted time, we ask that you request an additional consultation.
Can I Split My Consultation Time?
Unfortunately, we are unable to “split” a consultation into separate blocks of time. If you feel that you need more than one consultation, please feel free to schedule them separately. If you feel that your case requires multiple interactions, please mention this to us and we will be happy to provide consultation and representation options for you.
